Whether in chilly Vancouver — or chillier Paris — it seems everyone has the same bug. I don’t know about you, but I’m tired of it continuously going around.  Here’s our tips and tricks on how to get better, and stay better.

    1. Go green.

Help yourself out with a green juice, nutrient over load.  If you’re anything like me, you’re tongue may not thank you, but your body will.  Stick to juices filled with greens and vegetables, and don’t forget the ginger, it’s a natural immunity booster. The best on our list: The Green from The Juice Truck. If you want to go for gold, take a few drops of Oil of Oregano before hand. It is extremely effective in fighting colds and flus.

    2.Go to bed.

I know, I know, the advice older than time, but there is a reason for it.  I might be preaching to the choir, but this is the hardest one for me.  To actually stop working and take the time to let your body rest.  A necessity if you want to get back on track.  To ensure a calming + relaxing sleep, treat yourself with a tranquillity pillow mist and use that new noise app you downloaded on your phone.

3.Try a tonic, when you need that extra boost.

Our favourite is Quiton Hypertonic. Found in most health food stores, this magic potion includes 90 minerals + trace elements.  It also increases energy and balances electrolytes. (Added benefit, it’s known as a hangover cure!)

    4. Stay hydrated.

Simple + straightforward. To elevate your Vitamin C intake, squeeze half a lemon into a glass of warm water.  The health benefits are immense for such a little amount of effort, including detoxification, digestion, skin rejuvenation, collagen production, and body healing.

    5. Be comfy.

When you’re ready to get back at it, no reason you can’t be just as comfy out of the house as you were in (+ chic).  Go to: luxe and warm fabrics, that have a little give, like this velour jumpsuit, cashmere scarf, or sweater.
