    ABOUT:

Wassily Kandinsky (1866 - 1944) a Russian painter known as being one of the pioneers to modern abstract painting, changing the course of art history itself. His high-aptitude towards colours, sounds, and words mixed in with his academic background knowledge of legal studies, formulated into his revolutionary style of art.

Deterring from 'copying' natures beauty, Kandinsky wanted to exploit something that offered profound & transcendental expression, to each their own. The book covers his early paintings with Claude Monet like styles that would later transform into own abstract/expressionism.
