Secret Location partners with luxury cashmere brand Barrie to launch first-ever Canadian collaboration
VANCOUVER, B.C., November 28, 2018 – Canada’s preeminent concept store, Secret Location (1 Water Street), showcases a timeless limited-edition cashmere sweater as part of Scotland’s renowned House of Barrie Knitwear’s maiden Canadian collaboration.
Featuring an intricate intarsia design of British Columbia’s iconic mountains and trees in shades of pastel, the Vancouver Maple Leaf Pull Over unisex sweater is designed to be reminiscent of Vancouver’s coastal landscape. As a curator of the city’s most unique, interesting, and responsibly-made items, Carey Melnichuk, founder and creative director of Secret Location, worked with Barrie to provide inspiration for the design borrowing from Vancouver’s natural beauty and uniquely West Coast colour palette.

The Vancouver Maple Leaf Pull Over sweater is available at Secret Location, Barrie’s exclusive retailer in the region, starting on Wednesday November 28, 2018. Each sweater is set to retail for $1,340 CDN and will be found in an assortment of unisex sizes: XS, S, M and L.
