Who
- Ilaria Cornacchini: She is an architect with a big talent and long-time passion for fashion. In 2007 she attended a course in fashion design at Polimoda (international school of fashion and design in Florence).
- Veronica Cornacchini: graduated in design at University of Florence and she had an internship in wearable technology at tu/e in Eindhoven. She is also a professional modern dancer.
- Matteo Gioli: He is a musician and designer. Since 2010 he is designer and co-founder of Superduper hats. Since June 2012 he started a collaboration with the artistic collective "art comes first".
Where
SuperDuper was born in Florence out of a fun-loving passion after the discovery of a unique wooden hat block. Every SuperDuper hat is completely locally handmade. Every SuperDuper hat borns thanks to several hours spent to transform high quality raw material into an authentic handcraft product. A hat becomes a SuperDuper only if the designers are truly satisfied with the final result and if they are the firsts willing to wear it.
Every SuperDuper is a true creative piece.
When
SuperDuper hats was born in October 2010.
In 2013 the brand won “who is on next?”, one of the most important prizes created from vogue, Pitti Immagine and Altaroma for young designers. During the edition of Pitti Immagine /Jan 2014 the designers present their collection as a real show/performance.
The performance has been hosted by Pitti discovery and curated by Archivio Personale.
In June of 2015 during summer edition of Pitti Immagine the collection has been presented on the riverside of the Arno river with a music performance created by the english musician dollar bill and his one man band.
