Vancouver is a unique city that doesn't feel like a city.  To some, whether you're a regular visitor or a first-time tourist, it can feel just like home.  Natural scenery, relaxing atmosphere, and an assortment of international cuisine's to discover.  Much like our previous brunch post, we've taken Our Vancouver Guide and gathered our recommended lunch spots; restaurants that hold a high-standard and source naturally, from authentic Pizza's, to shareable plates to indulge.

The acclaimed Miku restaurant sits comfortably along the waterfront facing Canada Place and the Burrard Inlet.  An Ocean Wise restaurant that offers gourmet Aburi cuisine (flame seared) a classic style of sushi flavour & technique.  Their lunch menu combines traditional Japanese foods with the local West-Coast interior element to create a truly unique experience.  Reservations during peak hours is suggested.

Known for their certified Neapolitan style pies, they've become the preferred lunch option for those looking to enjoy in a welcoming, rustic setting with fresh-authentic pizza in Gastown.  Nicli Antica has ensured their pizza will undertake the Vera Pizza Napoletana (true Neapolitan pizza) process according to tradition; protecting & professionalizing the Italian art.  Don't forget to ask about their Secret pizza!

Showcasing the finest Chinese cuisine in Vancouver, Kirin restaurant has made a name for itself with their award-winning dim sum, broad range of traditional & exotic dishes, and focused on locally sourced seafood plates.  Executive Chef Allen Liu's deep knowledge in crabs, lobsters, and oysters, has formed the foundation of the Kirin menu.

Located in the buzzing West-End of Vancouver, Kingyo restaurant brings an authentic decor and creative Japanese eats serving small-plates and bento boxes in an up-beat atmosphere.  Be sure you're one of the first few to arrive during lunch as their izakaya style menu offers a special bento box in limited quantities, having guest come back for more!
