New York City-based Alison Chelma, Creative Director and Designer of quirky-chic jewellery label Alison Lou, is inspired by the ambiguous simplicity of modern communication.

Alison’s first collection is a cheeky commentary on the expression of feelings through the world of emoji. Taking the pop-culture appeal a giant leap further, Alison worked with Girls actress and long-time family friend Jemima Kirke to model the collection in a look book full of heart earrings, crystal-studded lip pendants, and smiley face necklaces. The young designer formerly interned at House of Waris and Flin Jewelry.
