Europe’s most modern glass Manufactory opened in June 2012. Bomma’s founder Jiri Trtik built his own factory to employ the skilled craftsmen and engineers suddenly unemployed after a local glass factory in Svetla shut down after more than 100 years of glass making.
From the beginning the focus has been on artisan craftmanship, innovative technology and contemporary design. Bomma designs and builds their own cutting machines and tools. All products are manufactured locally in the Czech Republic.
