Lex Pott is known for his raw and intuitive method of work. He returns to the origins of the materials he uses most, and he does not hide design under distracting layers. Instead, he chooses to minimalize them to their very essence and function. Pott creates his work in his design studio based in Rotterdam, Netherlands.
Featuring the twist candles, it showcases the flexibility of wax in order to create alluring, geometric shapes. Candles are usually straight and therefore need a base - resulting in one candle; a double-ended candle.
