After various professional career, it is in 2010 that Celine discovered ceramics. She then enrolls in a college training at the Bonsecours Ceramic Center in Montreal. During her studies, she learns to master different techniques, turning, shaping and molding.
Celine's work has changed a lot in the last six years. Her style has refined, her technique has changed and her products have evolved. The collection that she proposes now is very smooth. Entirely designed by turning, the potter's wheel, she uses porcelain, engobes color and a technique of image transfer to print the text on objects. With pastel colors and delicate and geometric patterns, her collection with poetic suspicions is a collaboration with her lover Julien Gagnon, who composes short poems for the ceramics.
Celine's studio is located in Montreal's Rosemont neighborhood. She shares her workplace with other ceramists. Although they work for each other on very different productions, cohabitation is very stimulating because they exchange ideas, opinions and mutual aid is part of their values. Over the last few years, Celine has participated in various major events in Quebec and Canada, such as the Montreal Salon des Métiers d'Art and Toronto's One of a Kind. Her products are also available in several stores in Montreal and in the Quebec City area.
