Resurrected in 2006, a full 67 years since it’s last collection, the historic haute couture house originally founded by Madeline Vionnet in 1912 is now helmed by Kazakhstan-born, Russian-bred Goga Ashkenazi. Since taking over as Creative Director in 2012, Ashkenazi has brought modern appeal to Vionnet’s heritage aesthetics.

Elegant draping, bias-cut fabrics and plissé detailing remain visible touchstones of classic Vionnet design, while vibrant colour and architectural details tell a modern story.
